Church Office Hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:00am -12:00
& 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Library
The library serves the congregation
both as a theological resource and as a place to find
a “good read” as well. Pat Hudson, the librarian,
ensures the library is stocked with books of interest
to all members of the congregation from children to
adults. The Library is open on Sunday mornings and at
other times by appointment.

Available Facilities and Associated
Costs
The congregation of Shaughnessy
Heights endorses the use of its premises as a service
and resource to the community by making space available
to organizations that foster a sense of community and
caring. Careful consideration is given to all requests
for the rental of space to ensure they fit in with the
mission statement of the church. Most groups are expected
to participate in covering costs involved with space
usage.
Facilities Available:
- SANCTUARY Seating for up to
600 people; Yamaha Concert grand piano; a 3 manual
Casavant pipe organ (to be used only by certified
organists with the approval of the Music Director.)
- MAIN HALL carpeted, high ceiling;
can seat 300 people; suitable for receptions; adjoins
a fully functional large kitchen.
- GYM wooden sprung
floor, wall mirror. high ceiling;
- adjoining fully functional large
kitchen.
- LOUNGE carpeted; seats 50
people; multi-purpose meeting room with fire-place;
adjoining a small kitchen.
- CLASS ROOM classroom style
room with chairs and tables and chalk board.
- YOUTH CENTRE carpeted multi
purpose room suitable for youth activities.
The following equipment is available
to use on the premises at cost:
- VCR and Television
- Flip Chart and pens
- Overhead Projector
Availability of Rental Spaces
Monday to Friday: 9:00am
- 10:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am
- 10:00pm
Sunday: 1:00pm
- 10:00pm
User Agreements
All users are required to sign agreements
upon booking facilities. Terms for month-to-month usage
arrangements are negotiated annually.

Staff on Hand
The office is open and staff available
on weekdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm. There is a custodian
on duty Monday to Friday from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and
during the weekend depending on events in the facility.
