Conversation Group
Those wanting opportunities to speak
English and learn about Canada and the Christian church
meet at SHUC every Tuesday and Thursday 1:00
2:30 p.m. This ministry also offers an opportunity for
SHUC volunteers to converse with newcomers to Canada
and SHUC about topics of interest. Yvonne Choi 604-267-4822
Shaughnessy Heights congregation
in varying ways supports the mission of the following
organizations:
- First United Church;
- WISH Center;
- Shaughnessy Heights and Chishaun
Housing Societies;
- The Shaughnessy Heights Church
Day Care.
A large number of organizations
make their home at the church building, including:
- Phoenix Choir;
- Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra;
- the Allison Berry Singers;
- the Stroke Club;
- Mood Disorder Group;
- Alcoholics Anonymous;
- The Bolton Academy of the Spoken
Arts, etc.
These organizations contribute to
the well-being of the community.
