Christian Education
The Christian Education Committee’s
mission is to develop programmes that facilitate Christian
education for all ages within the congregation and to
support those in leadership roles. We believe that "faith"
is a verb and requires work and care to flourish.
Thursday Morning Bible Study
The Thursday Morning Bible Study
has been offering support and caring to one another
through Bible Study and prayer for more than 15 years.
This year the group is following the Bible Quest curriculum
for adults. They meet every Thursday morning at 9:30
a.m. in SHUC’s lounge.
Disciple Bible Study
This is the first year "Disciple"
has been offered at SHUC. "Disciple", a disciplined
34-week course of study and discussion, aims to have
Bible study become an integral part of our faith journey.

Bible Study for newcomers to the
English language and Christianity
On Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11:45
a.m., opportunity is provided for conversation involving
newcomers to Canada. The group uses Bible stories as
told in a children’s story Bible. For more information,
